Our weekend getaway to Galveston

This weekend we went to Galveston for a mini getaway. I have been working a lot for the past several months and needed a chance to spend some quality time with my family. We had a BLAST! I was more relaxed than I have been in a long time. We went to Rainforest Cafe, rode the boat ride, went swimming in the heated pool at the San Luis (that was awesome), went to play Putt Putt, went bowling and ate way too much!

It was SO windy today. It was only about 55 this morning, but the wind made it so cold! It is a good thing I thought to bring jackets!

Here is the princess again. Oh...speaking of, we got her a really cool shirt the other day that says "Yes, I am a Priness because my Father is the King of Kings".

Here we are in the heated pool. Whew...I needed some make up bad! I was not even going to get my hair wet, but they had a really big water slide that I went down as soon as we got in the pool and it was inevitable that my hair was going to get wet.

The Putt Putt course was really pretty. I know what you are thinking...Galveston is not all that pretty, but this course was nice.
